St. Cecilia Girls and Boys Track teams won the Sandy Creek Invitational. Everyone, including the coaches, achieved some real success. We were supposed to get bad weather, but the day turned out to be a great day for all involved.

Head of the StC Boys team, Vince Pelster, achieved a very special honor. He is now a Level 4 NSAA Track Coach. This is a very difficult title to gain, it takes a very high number of meet wins and points. He has been guiding very talented teams for the past 26 years, which includes 2 State Titles and a large number of District Championships. Coach Pelster had a huge impact on my personal running career, it’s been great to get a chance to work under him as an Assistant Coach.
