We are up to about 18 or 19 attendees, but there may be a few key people that haven’t replied. We need some input from everyone. The plan has been updated, you can find the latest details here.

St. Cecilia started their 2005 Cross Country season. On Aug. 15th, they started practicing. I called Head Coach Scott Rosno last night to see how the team is doing. They’re a little smaller than last year, missing some people who graduated. But that opens the door for new runners to lead the charge.

I really feel that this will be a great year for StC XC. The runners did a lot during the summer. Our experienced runners are becoming really solid runners and our younger runners are starting out better every year. As the season progresses, I’ll post the results. So check back.

How about getting back together? On September 17th we are planning a reunion, in Lincoln or Hastings. If you can make it, post a comment below.

UPDATE: We are in the process of planning the Reunion. I have created a new Post for the details. You can find them here.

I’m not sure if everyone noticed yet, but I moved to Omaha, Nebraska in June. I’m living just north of the UNO campus and working in Papillion, Ne.

I lived most of my life in Hastings, going to High School and College there. In the past 5 years, I’ve been running my business out of Hastings and more recently I’ve been working for Protex Central as their IT Manager.

I traveled back to Hastings to go to a Potluck Dinner on August 31st. I really appreciated the dinner and the chance to see everyone. Great food, I had to take a couple trips to the food table.

The best was getting the Hub Cap from Brandon Boesch, Brian Nielson, Derek Sekora and Zach Dubas. We had been collected loose hub caps that we saw during runs, over the past two years. We had a big collection going. The STC crew gave me a signed one.

The trip back to Omaha was a little tough. I’m going to miss the team, coaching the St Cecilia kids for the past two years is one of the best experiences I’ve had. I couldn’t even start to explain, each person brought great things to the table. Students, Athletes, Coaches and Parents. I’d really like to thank everyone on the STC squad.
