VEX Starstruck and VEX IQ Crossover Robot Virtual Worlds

RoboMatter has released the RobotC Virtual worlds for VEX Robotics Starstruck and VEX IQ Crossover.

Students are able to play matches for both games, where they can learn and test strategies over the summer.  The programmers on the team can also start working immediately on programming, while they wait for the design and build process to start.

Help build the future engineers of tomorrow

Help the Mary Our Queen Robotics team from Omaha, NE. The program expanded to four teams last year. For the 2012- 2013 school year, we have even more students interested in participating.

The teams of 6th-8th graders design, build and compete with their robots. These students are the future in engineering, science and math. We would like to buy a curriculum to enhance their learning and skills.

We also hope to qualify for post season play – State, Nationals and Worlds.

Robotics Tournament at Mount Michael

On Saturday, I watched one of the most innovative High School programs I’d ever seen. Mount Michael hosted a robotics tournament where 24 High School teams competed with robots they’d assembled from the Vex Robotics Design. Each team formed an alliance with another team, to compete in a rounds where their robots needed to pick up rings, move the posts, block opponents, and more. It was fun to see smart kids use their talent and have a great time at it.
